Ghana has the largest informal sector made up of micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs). These enterprises have not lived up to their potential because of the huge skill gap that exists in the sector. Formal training into these skills are expensive and usually not tailored for the sector. There has not been interventions where industry specialists and experts can transfer their knowledge in a contextually relevant manner. We are filling this gap by mobilizing existing professionals with command of such skill sets to provide practical training and to the sector in order to boost its potential int he long-run. Our approach is to provide skills that add direct value for MSME leaders and to their enterprises.
