10°North is a handbag and accessories company that creates pieces inspired by African cloth and patterns in a way that the fashion industry has not yet used it. There are no designers and no products on the market that currently manufacture traditional African cloths and patterns in any other form except in the traditional heavy cloth material. Despite the incredible popularity that the print has gained in recent years, even inspiring a supermodel to travel to Africa to promote the new African ... Inspired Show soon to be released in 2015. Upon realizing this, I discovered an opportunity to create a line of handbags, shoes and accessories recreated from the traditional cloths, however, manufactured in genuine leather, and other fine materials, finally giving versatility to these famous patterns. My company will cater to the customer looking for high end and unique pieces comparable to famous fashion houses created with African inspiration. 10°North is gaining popularity on social media after releasing the first phase of handbags with several more designs currently ready to be sampled.
