ILLUME RESEARCH
Illume Research is an online education startup headquartered in the UK but has six branches in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hefei, Chengdu and Chongqing for the China market. It aims to better prepare Chinese students for studying abroad by developing their science research abilities. Through Illume Research, students are assigned mentors from top foreign universities such as Cambridge, Harvard and Princeton. The mentors then tune in through live video to discuss and supervise research projects in a wide range of areas including engineering, psychology and environmental science, with some of the results being published in established industry journals abroad, thereby giving Illume's clients a higher chance of being accepted by their dream universities.
