ARTO is a digital art marketplace that helps galleries to connect with the affluent consumer who has some interest in art, but doesn't know how to describe their art taste and where to start their search. We help these consumers to discover and buy art using our AI based recommendation engine. Once the user opens the mobile app (we focus on mobile, not web) he will see an Instagram-like feed with art images which he can swipe left and right to indicate a like or dislike. The more a user swipes ... the better we understand his taste and the better we can recommend artworks that fit with his profile. The app also provides price, dimension, description, artist info, art news. If the user sees something he loves he can immediately buy it. On the supply side, we help galleries, who have a lot of knowledge of art but struggle with digital, to promote and sell their artworks online.
