Social Organisation with a vision to make India an inclusive country with accessible infrastructure in public places for people with visual disability. We specialize in providing facilities/solutions at public places specifically for the visually impaired thus enabling them to commute with ease and with minimal help from others. We are working closely on the United Nations's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)- Goal10 as well as Goal 8 which strives to reduce inequalities within and among the c... ountries by empowering them, making them capable enough to be independent and promoting the social and economic inclusions of all and making world accessible and equal for the people with disabilities to live in. Anuprayaas and our work in accessibility in India have been featured in " Disability at a Glance 2019" (Page Number 77) by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Our Vision: To make India accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. Our Mission: To make public spaces accessible &Visually Impaired friendly by providing accessibility solutions. We aim to sensitize people towards people with disabilities through our Disability Etiquette Program, thus creating an inclusive society. Our Focus Areas: 1. Accessibility: Making Public Places like Railway Stations Visually Impaired Friendly: We specialize in providing braille indicators & signs specifically at Railway Stations, trains, blind schools thus enabling VI people to commute with minimal help from others. We also provide braille tactile maps; portable ramps; guidance booklets and menu cards for restaurants in Braille to make the premises accessible. 2. Inclusion: Disability Awareness Program: This program is specially designed to train the people on the Dos and Don'ts of behaviour that a person must take care of while interacting with a person of certain disabilities. To date, we have sensitized 8750 people through our Programs. 3. Braillemate: A Quirky collection of braille based motivational frames & merchandise with a mission to create 1000 visually impaired Entrepreneurs & Digital Influencers.More
